EPISODE #10 – A SWARM OF ARMY ANTS
(note use of the earlier, alternate title)

7-Zark-7 is alone at the Command Center when his monitors begin to show thousands of unidentified objects heading toward Earth. He soon discovers that they’re some sort of insect with laser beam eyes. The G-Force is called in and their first move is to release a torrent of water that washes all of the bugs away. They manage to save one of the insects and take it back to the center.

7-Zark-7 quickly performs some tests on the creature and announces that it is a mechanical robot ant and that the metal it’s made of comes from the planet Tramulus. The G-Force decides to take the creature back to its planet and to follow it to its home. The ant leads our heroes to two gigantic ant hills, but before they can explore any further they are sucked down into a quicksand pit and into the offices of the Mighty Antoff. Antoff has made a pact with Spectra that if he kills the G-Force, he can rule the Earth. He puts everyone inside a glass dome, but the G-Force use their bolos to blow a hole in the side of it and escape.

On their way back to the Phoenix, they discover a giant ant cocoon that hatches and heads for Earth. The G-Force follow it and try to use a solar light screen to burn it, but cloudy weather make this impossible. Meanwhile, the giant ant has been destroying everything in its path commanded by the Mighty Antoff who is locked inside it. Finally, the sun reappears and the solar screen works. The giant ant is destroyed and the Mighty Antoff is taken prisoner.

Earth is being invaded by millions of robot ants, launched from the alien planet Tramulus and G-Force to the rescue. After landing on the planet Tramulus and trailing one of the robot ants, the team is captured by Antoff, ruler of Tramulus and friend of Zoltar. G-Force must escape entrapment within an impregnable glass bubble before they can attempt to halt the total annihilation of earth. Starring Alan Young as 7-Zark-7 and Keye Luke as Zoltar.

But after examining one of the specimens, they find the space ants are powered by tiny turbo engines. They’re not ants, but an army of robotic insects. And they’re not from Spectra. They’ve been unleashed by the distant planet Tramulus. Now G-Force has a powerful new enemy and their weapons may be powerless against it!
