EPISODE #26 – THE BAT RAY BOMBERS

A strange new UFO has entered the Earth’s atmosphere and the G-Force has been alerted to go into action, but no one is able to get in touch with Tiny and the Phoenix. He has fallen asleep on board without wearing his radio watch. The UFO wastes no time in destroying its target – an ocean going ship. Tiny is brought in for questioning and, because of his negligence in this operation, Anderson suspends him from the G-Force.

Ashamed and broken-hearted, Tiny decides to return to his home in a small coastal fishing village. When he arrives, his father, the Captain, tells him that most of the village’s fishing boats have mysteriously disappeared. Tiny decides to check out the situation and arranges to go scuba diving with a young admirer, Tommy. While they are swimming, Tiny spots a mechanical Bat Ray sub. Anderson looks for Tiny to question him, but he has disappeared. He’s gone back to take on the Bat Ray by himself and is captured by the Ant Men who command it.

Mark goes to his rescue and is also captured. The Ant Men seal him in a room filled with sleep-inducing gas. Tiny pretends to be a coward to throw the Ant Men off guard and manages to fight off his captors and escape. He goes to Mark’s aid and then the two of them find the mechanism that will destroy the sub and set it off. What they didn’t realize, however, was that they were trapped within the flooding sub. Keyop risks his life to save his friends and using his Space Buggy manages to get inside the sub with an emergency air supply. Safely back on land, Tiny is rewarded for his heroism by being reinstated into the G-Force.
