While Tiny is on leave in the country visiting his seafaring friend, he learns from his friend’s son that the father’s ship was attacked and sunk by Spectra’s latest space vehicle – a Praying Mantis. If Tiny had been on duty, perhaps the attack could have been avoided. Finally, Tiny proves himself by piloting the Phoenix to victory over the Praying Mantis and rescuing his massing friends from a lonely island.

PERIL OF THE PREYING MANTIS

Tiny returns to his home village to visit his friend Captain Jack. As he's visiting, the Captain disappears when his ship is attacked and sunk by Spectra planes. But Zoltar's attack was only a ruse, his true goal was to destroy the Conway Tapes housed in the Conway Building. Tiny is torn between the personal obligation of finding his close friend or stopping Zoltar's plans!
