Music session log card from United/Western Recording Studios

This card shows the progression in recording of four pieces of Battle of the Planets music. This card is from the very last Battle of the Planets music session on 10/13/78. The card also shows where the session took place, "Studio 1" the engineer's name, "Chuck" (Chuck Britz) the reel number, "1" the track count of the tapes, "24" and the speed at which the sessions were recorded, "15 ips."

The letter codes to the left of the titles mean; "C" - Complete take, "FS" - False Start, "M" - Master take. The numbers in between the code and titles of the pieces indicate the take numbers.

The wording crossed out at the upper left of the card indicates the client's name. In this case "Hanna-Barbera" had been mistakenly written in - likely due to the fact that Hoyt Curtin was an employee of Hanna-Barbera at the time.

The address and phone number of the recording studio have both been intentionally blurred.
