G-Force's mighty Phoenix (top) and Mark's G-1, or Sonic Jet (bottom) 1979, by Entex. Both kits were originally issued in Japan by Grip. Of all five models issued in the United States, only these two and the individual team vehicles in the Space Station kit were designs included in the Battle of the Planets TV series.

The New God Phoenix from Gatchaman II (The Phoenix, top). This model was motorized. Also, Ken's G-1 Eagle Sharp from Gatchaman II by (The G-1 SP, below) 1979, by Entex. Both kits were originally issued in Japan by Bandai. Under their agreements, Sandy Frank Entertainment had no rights to be able to sell or promote items associated with Gatchaman II. These two kits were made available through mutual error of Bandai, Sandy Frank and Tatsunoko, none realizing at the time that they had no relation to Battle of the Planets.

--------------

The Battle of the Planets Space Station. 1979, by Entex. It was originally issued in Japan by Grip. Although the space station itself was never part of Battle of the Planets, the team's individual vehicles and Phoenix ship were included. The space station was a generic base created by the original Japanese model company and issued just like this in Japan, even though it had no relevance to Gatchaman either. This version of the model was also imported into Canada.

These five model kits were the only items of original Japanese merchandise Sandy Frank arranged to be rebranded and sold in the United States.
