Re: New Gatchaman Comic Series from Mad Cave Studios

Here we go with ep #53 again  At least, some backstory about it.

Maybe I'm the only one who finds that funny. :D

Re: Super Team Ideas

Nice choices, Stardust!!

This is exactly what I was hoping for. Not just the choices but why!

I also forgot the villains! Thanks for including those!!

For villains - I think I would have to go with The Luminous One and OVA Katse. That could be a fun combo.

For super devious villains: original ...

Super Team Ideas

I may have already posted this somewhere years ago, or it was one the old Mailing List. But it's an idea that could be really interesting to see others' preferences.

So, here's your opportunity to pick a super team. Here's the deal – you can only pick one from each team and tells us why. Here are ...

Re: Art differences between series

I started with Battle, and yes the art style was the big draw in for me.
Later when I went to college, an art college, I met other fans and that's when I was told about Gatchaman. I remember being told I need to watch it, it's very different from Battle. So I did.
I was already drawn to the ...

Re: Art differences between series

It's all right. We tend to have a mix of fans here. While some grew up with Battle , they then later discovered Gatchaman . I, personally, will always be a Battle girl :D Also, there are the other versions too that people know - especially kids growing up in the 1990s. their first exposure was G ...

Re: New Gatchaman Comic Series from Mad Cave Studios

I am so glad I am not alone here in my feelings.
I had a few other thoughts too. In regard to Katse, him taking traitors on are kind of out of character for him. He usually uses the traitors and then discards them because he feels what's to stop you from turning on Galactor. Who knows, maybe that ...

Re: New Gatchaman Comic Series from Mad Cave Studios

I didn't like 15 at all.

The characters were flat. It was a lot of dialogue for nothing. It was painful to read because every character was becoming 2-dimensional. It was very sad. A whole of "you betrayed us", "we're friends" BS was happening and it's just stupid. My first reaction was "Whiskey ...

Bradbury Jar #4

Ok, this is what happens when I get spun up and can't calm down.

So...there was a show on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim (at least I think that's where it was) called Robot Chicken . Anyway, they made fun of everybody and if you're part of Gen X, a lot of the 15-minute episodes hit home and ...
