Re: Searching for Station Identity Promos
If anyone has or can find some that WDRB-41 (Louisville, KY) did, that would be amazing. I distinctly recall a highlighted outline of Mark and the Battle logo (or something similar). I know for a fact that Mark was part of it. I don't know if it was just him or the whole team or if the Phoenix was p...

Re: Endings
The feeling is mutual, my friend
Endings
Apparently, I need to get out more because I had other thoughts occur to me. Gatchaman, in general, usually has open ends for the series. They are not alone - Battle, G-Force, and Eagle Riders are ALL guilty! :D So let's take it one at a time: Gatchaman 105: The team returns to base one short, but w...

Re: Despite all the edits Battle Of The Planets has a TV-14 ratings on streaming.
It could be any number of things. But I'm with Stardust. In 1978, we didn't necessarily know about Zoltar (Katse). All we knew was that he was a master of disguise. It should have clicked with the number of women he pretended to be. But now in 2024, we know that history from the original anime. Whil...

Re: Mr. Sadao Miyamoto Has Passed Away
This is sad to hear. Thank for the incredible write-up The Other Jason - it's greatly appreciated. His position at Disney explains a lot. I remember watching the direct to video release of Pocahontas II and immediately noticed an anime influence in the opening scenes. No doubt Miyasan had something ...

Re: A "What If"
I was so hoping you would respond, Stardust. :) It's true we don't know a lot of the backstory of the BotP characters, but that still doesn't mean Mark would react differently. This is the point Katblu42 brought up. :) Thanks for your response too, Katblu!! :) Based on what I've seen of Mark's leade...

Re: European Battle of the Planets Comics
Thank you, Bit for your continued posting of these comics! I really like this ep.
The comic did a good job of bringing us the highlights of the show. I first saw this as G-Force on Cartoon Network. It's my favorite G-Force ep.
On a fun note, you were the first to post in 2024!
