I really do apologize for the way I reacted. I try to be as nice as possible here since despite such low activity and it being a relatively recent forum I love it here and I really dont want to pollute this beautiful forum with negativity.
That's a better apology, and I will accept it. You really did hurt my feelings, but I too didn't want to start drama on this forum.
One needs to be careful with words, I say this for myself as well, you don't know what's going on in a person's life, and lately mine has been a dumpster fire of a year. Jason and Bobkat are aware of my health crisis I have been having. So your response really hit me hard and made me feel bad in a forum where I usually feel safe.
I am not going to say anything more about this. I want to move forward and keep this thread about the BotP film going. It's been a nice thread so far and everyone has been engaged.
I really do sympathize a lot, mine has been very hard as well. I really didnt know how I was ever going to make it through. Your feelings are important and valid.

Russo brothers apparently will worked on another Avengers movie while the other AGBO movies also still in the making with uncertain release date. BoTP (and some of the announced project back in 2019) does not have any updates and the last statement made by Joe Russo back in 2023 doesn't seems Hopeful.

I guess we gotta wait and see, and i'd rather be glad that we got something like comic book serialization.

That's a very good question. The announcement that the brothers would take on another Marvel film (or films) was a surprise. However, from the very first announcement of the Battle of the Planets film, they said they may not direct it. I'm sure it was the hope of most fans that they would though. Maybe they'll look to perform production roles on the Battle film now (assuming doing so doesn't conflict with their new Marvel duties). Someone else is likely to direct if the Battle project advances at AGBO. Let's hope for some news or updates again soon.

To be honest, from what I heard about this movie, I dont like what it was planned. It was basically going to be a fanfic with the premise of "Orphans with brain implant super powers". And that's just unnaceptable to me in a post Live Action One Piece world, you dont need dumb changes to appeal to people, you need to change to account for pacing and or the change in mediums, but that's it.. I need an actual Battle Of The Planets movie a movie that is Basically just Gatchaman with space travel in it. The idea is rich and epic and I can see it being a huge hit. Many luminaries of the industry grew up with Battle. I think such a movie would be a huge hit and open the gates for more epic anime movies.
