Since some readers may be headed to San Diego in a few weeks, I thought it would be nice to alert you to the known guests who've had something to do with Gatchaman!
Kia Asamiya
Mr. Asamiya will be a Special Guest of the Comic-Con. A top talent of Japanese animation for three decades, he worked on series and films like Nadesico, Silent Möbius and Project A-Ko.Watch for more information about where he'll be appearing for interactions with fans and possible signings.
Mr. Asamiya (under his real name Michitaka Kikuchi) created three of the memorable covers for the Gatchaman LaserDisc set in 1990.

Hidetoshi Omori (booth #737)
A classic Japanese animator who worked on projects like Gundam Wing, Dragon Ball Z, InuYasha and Yu Yu Hakusho, to name a mere few from his incredible career. Mr. Omori will be appearing at the Ronin Collectibles booth (#737), signing on every day of the show.
For Gatchaman fans, Mr. Omori was a key animator on Gatchaman Crowds - Insight and he also created three of the fantastic covers for the 1990 Gatchaman LaserDisc set!

Cullen Bunn (offsite)
Mr. Bunn was the head writer at the start of the Gatchaman comic series for Mad Cave. He will be attending Comic-Con to promote the launch of Ignition Press at their special offsite location at 643 G St.
Inaki Miranda (offsite)
Mr. Miranda creates the main covers for the ongoing Gatchaman comic series for Mad Cave. He will be attending Comic-Con to promote the launch of Ignition Press at their special offsite location at 643 G St. However, he may also appear at the Mad Cave booth over the course of Comic-Con.
