The Greek translation of Battle of the Planets was called I Machi Ton Planiton and the situations and stories were translated faithfully from the American source.

Eighty-five episodes series were purchased by and broadcast on the Greece's national ERT network. I Machi Ton Planiton began airing in October, 1980 and ran through July 28, 1981. However, its contract window would have allowed it to air through October, 1982. Many thanks to Daniella T for her memories and contributions to series airing details in Greece!

The differences to the American version amounted mainly to name changes. Here is a list of the main American names and Greek comparisons.
