EPISODE #14 – PERILOUS PLEASURE CRUISE

Spectra launches a missile into the Milky Way. It’s heading for Earth and its target is the cruise ship, Starfire, sailing in the North Atlantic. On board the ship is Professor Wilde, one of the world’s leading genetic engineering scientists, and his grandchild. When the missile reaches the ship it causes a fantastic storm and sends the cruiser toward immense icebergs. Suddenly a metallic monster in the shape of a walrus rises out of the sea and all contact with the ship is lost.

The G-Force is called in. They head for the North Atlantic and locate the under-ice Spectra headquarters and make their way cautiously inside. Princess and Mark discover a magnetic highway and follow it until they reach a hospital structure. They arrive just as an operation is about to be performed on Professor Wilde’s granddaughter. The diabolical surgeon is none other than Zoltar, who has forced Wilde to reveal his secret formula for eternal life.

The G-Force fights off Zoltar’s men, but their insane leader escapes, sealing our heroes inside the steel operating room and setting the detonating mechanism. There is no escape. A sudden explosion blasts a hole in one of the steel walls, killing Professor Wilde and setting the G-Force free. They quickly stun the Spectra guards and set sail on the cruise ship. But Zoltar activates the monster walrus and it freezes the Phoenix in mid-flight as the rest of our heroes try to escape. They immediately transmute into the Fiery Phoenix and burn off their prison of ice. The flames from the Phoenix catch the walrus on fire and it explodes. Later, they discover that the Professor’s formula was not fully developed, and that Zoltar will destroy himself if he tries to use it.
