EPISODE #15 – THE THING WITH 1,000 EYES

The citizens of the capital city of Riga, a planet millions of miles from Earth, have disappeared. A reconnaissance unit is sent from Center Neptune to check the situation out. When it disappears, the G-Force is called in. When the Phoenix arrives on Riga, our heroes discover that a new form of life is being created under the ocean. They fly their spaceship underwater and find a secret base of breeding tanks.

The new life form is a jelly-like blob with thousands of laser eyes. As they watch it, the thing begins to divide and re-divide until finally there are hundreds of these monsters and the Phoenix is surrounded. The G-Force immediately launch their spacecraft out of the water but the blobs follow it into the air and reassemble into one gigantic pulsating mass. Meanwhile, back on Earth, Zark has been doing some chemical analysis of the creature and has discovered that is cannot be destroyed under water. The only way to kill it is by giving it an injection of high pressure oxygen. And the only way they can do this is to fly the Phoenix directly into the monster’s body.

Our heroes have no other choice but to do what Zark has told them and they fire up all of the Phoenix’s power and smash through the side of the blob. Zark’s calculations were correct and the monster disintegrates around them. The G-Force heads back to Earth for a celebration and the citizens of Riga are able to come out of hiding and back to their cities.

Spectra's demonic leader, Zoltar, unleashes his latest weapon from Spectra's hideout in deepest space. It is a blob-like creation with 1,000 eyes that emit fearsome and destructive rays. When G-Force shoots rockets and missiles, the "Thing" splits up into multiple and even stronger units. 7-Zark-7 finally discovers the "Thing's" weakness, and the Fiery Phoenix finishes him off. Starring Alan Young as 7-Zark-7 and Keye Luke as Zoltar.
