EPISODE #2 – RESCUE OF THE ASTRONAUTS

The Earth has sent two of its top astronauts to obtain detailed reports on the alien bases being built on Mars. They return to the Earth with all of this information on a small cassette, but while they’re waiting to be picked up in the ocean their capsule is sucked underwater by a Manta Ray Sub and taken to Spectra’s new underwater headquarters – a giant Whale Submarine.

G-Force is called in and quickly launches the Phoenix and heads for where the astronauts were last seen. They take the Phoenix underwater to explore the area but are forced out of the ocean when an underwater volcano erupts. In spite of the danger, they return under the water and using their Infra Red Beam Projector discover the secret base – the largest they have ever seen!

Mark leaves the rest of the G-Force behind and swims out of the Phoenix and onto the base. He avoids the Spectra guards and reaches the control room where the cassette is being kept. Meanwhile the villainous captain of the base, Okto, has spotted Mark on board and sets up a deadly trap. He activates a fighting Robot Drill, but Mark successfully defends himself against it only to be captured by a Robot Hook. Okto orders his guards to throw Mark into the cell with the astronauts, but on the way, Mark disarms them and escapes.

Meanwhile, Keyop has slipped on board, retrieved the capsule, and pushed the ship’s self-destruct button. Mark rescues the astronauts and they return to the Phoenix. Zoltar commands Okto to abandon ship in a small fighting craft and to destroy the Phoenix. Okto and his men chase after the G-Force but are destroyed by the Phoenix’ powerful heat field.

Two astronauts returning from an orbital mission are captured by a huge Manta Ray submarine vessel controlled by the planet Spectra. Zoltar, evil prime minister of Spectra, wants the valuable information of Mars, collected by the astronauts. Mark, Jason, Princess, Keyop and Tiny are called upon to rescue the astronauts and protect the secret information from falling into Zoltar's hands. Starring Alan Young as 7-Zark-7 and Keye Luke as Zoltar.

Two astronauts find starting evidence of giant alien bases, underwater on Mars. Returning from their top-secret mission, they mysteriously disappear on re-entry. 7-Zark-7 calls in the G-Force. Only problem, the astronauts have been hijacked by the aliens who don’t want anyone to know about their bases, and Zoltar is their leader! G-Force locates their huge underwater headquarters and Mark transmutes into a diver to gain access. Zoltar’s aliens attack with drill-like precision, finally ordering Mark to surrender or never see the astronauts again. Now the G-Force Fiery Phoenix is the only thing that stands between Mark and oblivion.
