..................

While on a surveying mission of Mars, two of Earth's top astronauts find evidence of alien bases being built there. They return to Earth at a splashdown point in their space capsule with all of this information stored on a small Map Simulator Cassette. While they're waiting to be picked up in the ocean, their capsule is pulled underwater by a two Spectra submarines and taken to their new underwater headquarters - a giant Whale Ship.

7-Zark-7 calls Mark at home and has him join up with the rest of G-Force who are already in the Phoenix. Chief Anderson tells the team about the astronauts' mission, what they discovered and why getting the cassette back is so vital to the security of the Galaxy.

On board the Whale Ship, its captain analyzes the cassette to find the bases Spectra has been constructing on Mars are clearly indicated. He transmits this data to Zoltar who in turn informs the Spirit. The Spirit then orders Zoltar to get their new bases up and running right away.

G-Force investigate the spot in the ocean where the astronauts disappeared and take the Phoenix into the sea. But they are quickly enveloped in an underwater volcanic eruption whirlpool and are barely able to escape back to the sky. In spite of the danger, they return underwater and are quickly able to discover the hidden Spectra vessel with their infrared beam projector.

Mark swims into the Whale Ship alone and reaches a hangar where he finds the empty space capsule. The villainous captain of the ship spots Mark and activates a robot drill to kill the G-Force commander. Though he is able to avoid the danger, Mark is forced to surrender when the captain threatens to harm the astronauts.

Mark is taken away to be thrown into a cell with the astronauts, but he receives some unexpected help from Keyop who has also managed to slip on board. The two take out the guards, retrieve the cassette and Keyop plays with the Whale Ship's controls forcing it to crash and catch on fire.

Mark and Keyop rescue the astronauts and return to the Phoenix. With the Whale Ship rapidly being destroyed, Zoltar commands the captain to use one of its small attack crafts to destroy the Phoenix.

Just after the Phoenix surfaces, the Spectra ship appears and hurtles towards them on a crash course. With no time to spare, Mark activates the Fiery Phoenix and its heat melts the Spectra attack ship.

G-Force is able to recover the cassette and 7-Zark-7 informs them that now that the bases are no longer secret, Spectra is forced to abandon their plans on Mars.

A quick transmute into the Fiery Phoenix can knock G-Force unconscious

7-Zark-7 and 1-Rover-1 have been programmed to feel friendship, but have not been programmed to hate
