EPISODE #21 – MAD NEW RULER OF SPECTRA

The G-Force is given a day off and Tiny and Keyop head for the racetracks. The first race of the day is about to begin and they notice that horse #8 is so old and overweight that it doesn’t have a chance to win. They start to laugh at this sight and a man behind them tells them they won’t laugh when the race is over and #8 is the winner.

The starting gun explodes and the horses are off. #8 doesn’t even move out of the gate. They look at the man behind them and notice that he’s twisting a dial under his coat. Suddenly the old horse takes off and begins racing faster and faster. The man keeps turning his dial and the more he turns, the faster the horse runs. #8 wins and everyone at the track is dumbfounded. Tiny and Keyop turn to talk to this strange man, but he has gone. They recognize two Spectra agents in the crowd who seem to be as interested in horse #8 as they are. The man with the dial turns out to be Professor Hugo Doriarity, one of the world’s greatest research scientists. He has created the cyborg horse so that he can finally have the millions of dollars he’s always dreamed of.

Later than night, the Spectra agents come to his home and kidnap him. They take him to the main Spectra headquarters in the Crab Nebulae where Zoltar introduces him to the Spirit. The Spirit wants Hugo’s cyborg formula and the Professor agrees to give it to him on one condition – that the Spirit makes him the ruler of Spectra. The Spirit agrees and Zoltar is stripped of his power. The G-Force has found out about the kidnapping of the Professor and is hot on the trail.

When they arrive on Spectra they discover herds of frenzied cyborg horses racing across the planet. They follow one of the herds to an underground launching pad. Inside they learn that the Spirit betrayed Professor Doriarity and once he had given them the formula, he had been taken prisoner. Now Zoltar plans to send the cyborg horses to Earth to destroy all the nuclear power plants. The Professor rebels and joins with the G-Force. He instructs Mark and the Princess to push the self-destruct buttons located on the back of each horse. They chase after the herds and follow his instructions. The horses are destroyed and once again the Universe is saved from Zoltar’s evil master plans.
