EPISODE #24 – THE MUSICAL MUMMY An alien object has entered the Earth’s solar system and is plunging straight toward Earth. Its target – the Intergalactic Research Laboratory. Several of the scientists working there have mysteriously disappeared and the G-Force has been called in to protect the remaining members. Mark is assigned to look after Professor Walter Lambert, inventor of the Electro-Dynamic Force Field. While Mark is on his way to the Professor’s home, Zoltar’s henchmen arrive and attempt to steal the plans from Lambert. Mark arrives on the scene and fights off the Spectra guards in a spectacular chase scene that leads him to a local amusement park. Mark finds Keyop there watching a musical exhibit with a piccolo player and a clown. Keyop seems to be mesmerized by the music, but Mark finally gets him to leave. The Mumy follows them and when Mark is once again with the Professor, the monster tries to crush their car with its foot and fires deadly lasers from its eyes that burn holes in the road. Mark escapes and the Mummy turns after Keyop and Princess and then suddenly disappears. Meanwhile, Zark has been doing some research back at Center Neptune and has pinpointed the Mummy’s hiding place at the amusement park. All of the G-Force go back to the park and split up to search. Keyop and Princess get trapped by the Octopus ride while Mark tails the piccolo player who turns out to be Zoltar in disguise. Zoltar reveals his plan to kidnap all the best brains on Earth and that his next target is Chief Anderson. He summons forth the Mummy by playing on the piccolo. Mark uses his boomerang to snatch the instrument out of Zoltar’s hands and the Mummy suddenly disappears. Zoltar makes a quick exit to safety. Later, Mark asks Keyop to play a tune on the piccolo and Keyop’s music destroys the monster. *** Synopsis for episode promotion #24 – THE MUSICAL MUMMY Several American Scientists have mysteriously disappeared, much to the dismay of Zark, Anderson and G-Force. A carnival has set up in the vicinity of the kidnappings and G-Force investigates one of the entertainers there: a sinister-looking flutist, who has a special attraction to Keyop. It is soon discovered that the flutist is much more than an entertainer, and Keyop learns that he too can play a dance tune for a Spectra space monster.
