EPISODE #35 – DEMONS OF THE DESERT

There is trouble in the Sheikdom of Aburra on the Persian Gulf. Tabul, its young leader who studed with the G-Force, has been overthrown and his uncle, Ajeeb, has taken control of the country. This is one of the most important oil producing nations on Earth and the G-Force is immediately called in to check out this dangerous situation.

When the Phoenix arrives in Aburra, it is assaulted by Ajeeb’s Air Force and told that it may not enter their airspace. The G-Force transmutes the Phoenix into the Fiery Phoenix and disappears from the enemy airforce, landing in Aburra’s desert. Tabul locates his friends and explains what has happened. He then receives a message from his uncle that he would like to have a meeting. Everyone realizes that this might be a trap, but Tabul decides to go anyway. Mark follows him to Ajeeb’s palace and stops Tabul just before he kills his uncle. But Ajeeb has the last laugh becaue he releases a trapdoor in the palace floor and Mark and Tabul plunge into an underground cell. Inside the cell, Tabul discovers a skeleton and on its hand is his uncle’s ring. Suddenly, everything is clear. Ajeeb is really Zoltar in disguise.

Mark escapes out of the cell and finds Zoltar. Realizing that his scheme has been uncovered, Zoltar escapes before Mark can capture him, but vows that he will return and destroy al of the refineries. But Tabul outsmarts Zoltar by placing bombs in the refineries that are so strong that they will destroy Zoltar if he tries to attack.
