Official episode synopsis

..To gain control of the Sheikdom of Aburra's oil reserves..

..To help Prince Tabul regain control of his Sheikdom.
........

There is trouble in the Sheikdom of Aburra on the Persian Gulf. Tabul, its young leader who recently studied at Center Neptune, has been overthrown and his uncle, Ajeeb, has taken control of the country. This is one of the most important oil producing nations on Earth and the G-Force is immediately called in to check out this dangerous situation.

When the Phoenix arrives in Aburra, it is assaulted by Ajeeb’s Air Force and told it may not enter their airspace. G-Force transmutes the Phoenix into the Fiery Phoenix and disappears from the enemy air force, landing in Aburra’s desert. Tabul locates his friends and explains what has happened. He then receives orders from his uncle to report to the palace. Everyone realizes that this might be a trap, but Tabul decides to go anyway.

Mark follows him to Ajeeb’s palace and stops Tabul just before he kills his uncle. But Ajeeb has the last laugh because he releases a trap door in the palace floor and Mark and Tabul plunge into an underground cell. Inside the cell, Tabul discovers a skeleton and on its hand is his uncle’s ring. Suddenly, everything is clear. Ajeeb is really Zoltar in disguise. Mark escapes the cell to find Zoltar.

Later, by himself inside the palace Zoltar laughs and says all the oil will now belong to Spectra. But as he's reveling, Marks voice calls out from an unseen location. Zoltar pulls out a gun, but Mark throws his Sonic Boomerang and knocks it from Zoltar's hands. Mark leaps from a chandelier and knocks Zoltar down the palace steps, but the evil Spectra leader is able to get to his feet and flee. He makes his way to his private airship and lifts off, leaving Mark behind.

During all this, a Spectra machine is bombing a village in Aburra. Back on the Phoenix, Mark and the rest of G-Force watching the machine on its path of destruction. Tiny comes up with a plan to lead the ship to its destruction. Mark contacts Tabul so the two teams can work together. The Phoenix flies in front of the machine and it gives chase. Tabul and his men are ready to fire at the explosives stored on the machine's exterior as it flies above Aburra's oil refineries. When it gets to the right point, Tabul's men open fire on the ship, which loosens a series of bombs. They detonate in the oil refinery and cause a massive explosion which takes out the Spectra ship. In order to escape without being destroyed themselves, they transform into the Fiery Phoenix again and zip off at high speed.

The mission was a success, but Aburra has paid a heavy price. 7-Zark-7 says the destroyed refinery will be quickly replaced and will be the largest and most efficient on Earth.

G-Force lured the ship over top of Aburra's oil refineries to attack it. The resulting massive explosion destroyed the Spectra machine.

The Persian Gulf and Arabian Peninsula still exist as regions

Prince Tabul was recently educated at Center Neptune

Tabul not only knows about G-Force but he knows how to contact them as well

Note: Tabul's Uncle is well and truly dead. This episode contains one of the rare instances where someone is killed in the series (off-screen) and you see their remains.
