EPISODE #39 – THE FIERCE FLOWERS (PART ONE)

Zoltar has sent an alien UFO from one of Spectra’s moons carrying one of his chief henchmen, Captain Morlok, and a special “present” for Earth. When the UFO arrives, it begins to drop white flower petals over most of the major cities. That evening when it begins to rain, the petals take root and grow into monster meat-eating plants.

G-Force is contacted at a local café but the situation is already out of hand and Princess, who stays behind for a minute, is attacked by a mob of the flowers. She manages to fight off her attackers and using an energy force through her fingers stuns the flowers and escapes. At Center Neptune, Chief Anderson reveals a special protective suit designed by Zark that will enable someone to go inside the flowers and discover their weaknesses. Since it is particularly effective when worn by a woman, Princess is assigned this dangerous job. That night, while driving along a deserted highway, she is once again attacked and “eaten” by the flowers. When she is discovered missing, the rest of the G-Force sets out to find her.

Meanwhile, Zoltar has commanded Captain Morlok to release his Armed Motorized Units to hunt down and kill the Force. Mark falls into an ambush of three Spectra cyclists but is able to outsmart them and escape their attack. He takes his plane and begins searching the countryside for Princess. He doesn’t find any clues to where she might be but he does discover a mountain covered with the deadly flowers. When he radios this information in to Center Neptune, Chief Anderson orders him to destroy the field of flowers. Mark insists that if he does that he might be killing Princess. Anderson will not relent and finally Mark is forced to fly over the mountain, emptying his fuel tanks and firing a missile that burns the entire mountainside. But nobody realized that fire does not destroy these alien creatures, it only makes them grow faster. (TO BE CONTINUED)
