Zoltar sends a spaceship from one of Spectra's moons commanded by one of his chief henchmen, Captain Morlak, along with a special "present" for Earth. When the ship arrives, it disperses innocent-looking white flower petals over many of Earth’s major cities.

That evening when it begins to rain, the petals take root and grow into monstrous carnivorous plants. G-Force is contacted at a local café but the situation is already out of hand. Princess, who stays behind at the café for a minute, is attacked by several of the flowers. She manages to fight off the flowers by transmuting and she makes her escape. At Center Neptune, Chief Anderson reveals a special protective suit designed by 7-Zark-7 that will enable someone to get inside the flowers to discover their weaknesses. Since it is particularly effective when worn by a woman, Princess is assigned this dangerous job. That night, while driving along a deserted highway she is once again attacked but this time she gets eaten by one of the flowers. When she is discovered missing the rest of G-Force set out to find her.

Meanwhile, Zoltar has commanded Captain Morlak to release his Armed Motorized Units to hunt down and kill G-Force. Mark falls into an ambush of three Spectra motorcyclists but is able to outsmart them and escape their attack. Later, he takes his plane to search the countryside for Princess. He doesn't find any clues to where she might be but he does discover a mountain entirely covered with the deadly flowers.

When he radios this information in to Center Neptune, Chief Anderson orders him to destroy the entire field. Mark insists that to do that, he might be also kill Princess. Anderson does not relent and finally Mark is forced to fly over the mountain, empty his fuel tanks and fire a missile that burns the entire mountainside.

Unfortunately no one realizes that fire does not destroy these alien creatures. On the contrary, they thrive on it and it makes them spread even faster...

These menacing Spectra plants were dispersed to Earth from space in spore form. When exposed to water, they grew to their full giant size in a matter of seconds. They were carnivorous in Earth's environment. With the lack of rain, the flowers reverted to a smaller bud size. In an effort to collect information about them, Princess volunteered to be captured by one while wearing a protective skin. Because of their threat to Earth, G-Force was forced to attempt to destroy them with fire before they could determine Princess' safety. Unfortunately, fire merely hastened the release of more deadly spores.
