EPISODE #4 – THE SPACE SERPENT

An alien ship has landed on Earth and is attacking all of the major oil refineries. It is a serpent-like creature that sucks all of the crude oil out of its storage tanks and then burns the refineries. It is also believe to be responsible for the seismic disturbances being felt all around the globe. Mark is called to a meeting with his old friend, Dr. Harlan, a noted seismologist at the Borden Institute.

During their meeting there is a sudden earthquake. Mark and Dr. Harlan escape the building, but the earthquake opens a deep crevice into the earth and Dr. Harlan slips into it and is killed. Later, at the funeral, Mark is attacked by Dr. Harlan’s daughter, Debbie, who believes that Mark was responsible for her father’s death. He decides to bring her along with the G-Force to show her the monster that was truly responsible. Using their Infra Scanner, they locate it buried deep under ground. But the Spectra agents on board the alien craft have spotted the G-Force and launch a counterattack.

The attack is unsuccessful and the Serpent once again burrows itself deep within the earth and heads off toward a water and power complex. The Phoenix follows the path of the Serpent and when it finally surfaces, blows off its head with a powerful missile. The segments of the Serpent disconnect, each one becoming a military tank. Now the Phoenix must attack several monsters rather than one. Luckily, Zoltar has been watching the battle and commands that all of the segments regroup into one Serpent, not realizing that this is exactly what the G-Force needs to win the fight. When the monster is once again in one piece, the Phoenix fires off its TBX Nuclear Missile and the Space Serpent is destroyed.
