EPISODE #48 – RAID ON A NEARBY PLANET

Zark has been keeping a round the clock watch on the nearby planet of Vega because of recent Spectra threats. A red alert comes into Center Neptune from that little planet. Zoltar has destroyed a small island Defense Center and is now attacking an underwater electrical complex using his Space Ray Machine.

The G-Force is called in. Our heroes fly to Vega and locate the infra-red monster, but it fires on them, sending them plunging into the Sea of Vega. Keyop is so infuriated that he releases his Space Buggy and goes to the Spectra headquarters alone. He uses the drill attachment on his buggy to bore his way through the ground and into the top of the Space Ray craft. The rest of the G-Force have come to the base on foot and after knocking out the guards, take an underground tram to the control center. This is the largest Spectra arsenal they have ever found, with weapons of every description!

Zoltar has been watching our heroes approach and now reveals himself and shows them that he has captured Keyop and is about to place him inside a ray gun. Mark and the Princess attack Zoltar and plant their yo-yo bombs on the Space Ray. The bombs jam the Space Ray’s firing mechanism and they are able to save Keyop and get back to the Phoenix before the entire base blows up.

7-Zark-7, chief robot monitor for Center Neptune has been receiving warning impulses from Planet Vega that an attack and invasion appear imminent. A hideous new Spectra space vehicle begins the attack on Planet Vega's underwater energy complexes. Zark dispatches G-Force to help the friendly planet from this alien invasion. Only after they resort to transmuting the Fiery Phoenix, do Mark and he overcome the evil forces of Spectra and save their friends from Vega. Starring Alan Young as 7-Zark-7 and Keye Luke as Zoltar.
