EPISODE #9 – THE JUPITER MOON MENACE

Spectra’s Spirit has ordered Zoltar to become an ally with Commander Typhon, exiled ruler of the planet Scorpius. Typhon has a diabolical plan to destroy the Earth and nothing could make Zoltar happier. The plan is very simple. Typhon has launched a Lobster Missile and it has landed on one of Jupiter’s moons.

The Lobster has dug itself into the ground and using its gigantic claws has begun to throw moon boulders at the Earth. As they travel through space, the boulders become balls of fire and when they hit the Earth they are as powerful as atom bombs. The G-Force is having a ping-pong party when the first boulders hit Earth. They are immediately called into action and head for Jupiter’s moon. But when they arrive, Typhon has another trick up his sleeve. He is able to disturb the Phoenix’s detection system and make it impossible for them to launch their missiles against the monster.

Zark discovers a way to repair the system and the G-Force locates Typhon on Spectra. The Phoenix heads for the enemy planet and once there the G-Force swims to his underwater headquarters and surprises him there. They fight off Typhon’s men but he manages to escape. Using the master controls, the Lobster is destroyed and the force of the explosion pulls all of the boulders heading for Earth back to Jupiter’s moon.
