Channel 5 - Afternoon at Five: New children's programs this week. Old friends such as "Lassie," "Fury" and "Robin Hood" are back, with three new ones: "The Forest Rangers," "Battle of the Planets" and "Sport Billy."

The Junior Rangers are a group of boy protagonists who live and work with Canadian Rangers in the boundless forests, this adventure show airs on Channel 5 this week, Tuesday and Thursday afternoons at 4.

This TV series titled "The Forest Rangers," was filmed entirely in Canada. There are 91 episodes that will be shown to Italian children for the first time. Also new are the 85 episodes of "Battle of the Planets," which will also air on Channel 5 on Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons.

This is a Japanese cartoon series that has already achieved huge success in as many as 53 countries worldwide. The characters are reminiscent of "Star Wars," including a nice little robot. "Battle of the Planets" is the breathtaking adventures of a group of superheroes and their robot commander, committed to saving the Earth.

Alongside these and other innovations on Channel 5's "Afternoon with Five," there will also be the dear old friends: "Lassie," "Fury" and "Robin Hood."
