Issues 1-17 of the weekly Italian Gatchaman - Battle of the Planets comic series. Each contained art exclusive to the Italian market. The stories were based on existing TV episodes. Some stories were spread over several issues and some were contained in a single issue. Issues 1-13 ran 28 pages each (including covers), with a break for ads, character profiles and a poster in the center spread. Issues 14-17 ran 20 pages each (including covers). 17 issues were released in all. 1981, by Editorial Flash.

All three issues of the monthly Italian Gatchaman - Battle of the Planets comic series. Each squarebound issue contained art and stories exclusive to the Italian market. Each were about 48 pages in length. 1981, by Editorial Flash.

A collection album that could hold 300 individual stickers. Some stickers were complete images but many of them were partial pieces that could be placed to complete larger pictures. The album was also released in France and the stickers between the two issues were interchangeable. Copies of the album were both sold by themselves and given away if a buyer purchased a certain number of sticker packets. The album was printed more than once in Italy. 1982, by Editorial Flash.

Four issues of the monthly Italian "Corriere dei Piccoli" magazine. It featured six page, original Gatchaman - Battle of the Planets comic stories. The issue at the upper left (October 23, 1981 #43) was a teaser featuring a Gatchaman cover and poster of Ken, but no comic. The book's regular Gatchaman - Battle of the Planets comic stories began with the November 20, 1981, #47 issue on the upper right. Two other Gatchaman - Battle of the Planets covers (February 2, 1982 # 5 and March 21, 1982 #12) are featured on the left and right bottom row. The series ran intermittently to about the October 24, 1982 #43 issue. The rest of the issues contained other comics, games and articles for children. By Corriere dei Piccoli.

Two hardback Gatchaman - Battle of the Planets diaries for schoolchildren. They contained the same content; three stories adapted from the Battle of the Planets episodes, "Ace From Outer Space 7," "Fearful Sea Anemone 8" and "Jupiter Moon Menace 9." They contained one panel of art printed every three days to advance the stories. 1980, by AMZ Editrice.

The first three issues of Top Cow's new US Battle of the Planets comic were released in Italian in one volume by Lexy Publications. Unfortunately, the company folded suddenly after this first issue and the series was moved to Star Comics. 2003.

Star Comics picked up the Italian license for Top Cow's Battle of the Planets comic series after Lexy Publications went out of business. They began the series with issue four in the premiere issue of Star Magazine New in April, 2004. Battle of the Planets continued appearing in Star Magazine New through its sixth issue in September of the same year. Some issues also included interviews and other material from the comic series' director, Alex Ross. The one-shot Battle of the Planets/Witchblade crossover was presented in Star Magazine New's Special #1 in November, 2004.
