The very first issues of Battle of the Planets on home video in the U.S. were these six DVDs. Each volume contained two episodes of Battle of the Planets, their corresponding episodes of Gatchaman and a single episode of G-Force. There were matching VHS releases for these first six discs, but they only contained two Battle of the Planets episodes each. 2001 - 2002, by Rhino Home Video.

The Battle of the Planets Ultimate DVD Boxed Set. Two versions were issued, the standard one on the left, and a limited edition with an exclusive helmetless Jason action figure shown on the right. The sets included four discs, two discs with six episodes of Battle of the Planets on each and two discs with six matching episodes of Gatchaman on each. The set also included interviews with Jameson Brewer, Casey Kasem, Ronnie Schell, Janet Waldo and Alan Young. There was also a commentary track featuring Ronnie Schell, Janet Waldo and Alan Young. It was issued 2003 by Rhino Home Video on DVD only.

The final U.S. Battle of the Planets release on home video was a two disc set issued to commemorate the series' 25th anniversary. It contained fourteen episodes and no bonus features. 2004, on DVD only by Rhino Home Video.

A special 2002 limited U.S. release that was available only as part of a bag of Battle of the Planets items from a variety of companies. The bags were available exclusively at that year's Wizard World Convention and the San Diego Comic-Con. Rhino Home Video's contribution was a special mini DVD as shown above that included episodes 91 and 92.
