Chief Anderson tells G-Force there has been a development in the Professor Starke case. Security has been keeping an eye on him and he recently met with a Spectra special agent named Hanna. He gave her a copy of a Protein Formula he has developed. After the meeting, Hanna disappeared but Security took Professor Starke into custody.

On Spectra, The Spirit is upset. Hanna got the formula but won't turn it over. Zoltar's new plan to get it involves an agent named Korag from one of Spectra's subjugated planets. The Spirit is happy since he thinks even G-Force won't be able to stand up against the mighty Korag. Korag is sent to Earth with orders to find and eliminate Professor Starke.

Mark and Princess meet with one of Starke's colleagues named Dr. Hobson, who tells them he thinks the formula Starke gave Hanna was a fake. But Starke, in high security isolation, refuses to talk with anyone to clear the matter up.

7-Zark-7 alerts Jason, Tiny and Keyop that there is strange activity near the high security prison where Professor Starke is being held. It isn't long before a hydra-headed Spectra machine commanded by Korag appears. It quickly grabs the Phoenix, but when all seems lost, Mark and Princess arrive on the scene to free the Phoenix. The ship lifts off and Korag takes the opportunity to go looking for Starke in the prison. Thinking Korag has abandoned them to destruction by G-Force, the Spectra crew panic, set the self-destruct on the Hydra monster machine and get away in an escape craft.

As G-Force get to Starke's cell, he is lying on the ground with Korag standing over him. Mark assures him they have no quarrel with him since he's just been a slave to Spectra. But Korag takes exception to this and Keyop throws his bolo in defense. Korag catches it and crushes it in one hand. G-Force close in, but Korag takes them out easily, knocking them around and even crushing one of Mark's Sonic Boomerangs. He grabs Jason by the throat and pulls his gun from its holster ready to fire at point blank range into Jason's face. But he is unfamiliar with Jason's gun and when he pulls the trigger, it fires backwards releasing a projectile on a cable, which knocks Korag out.

Back at Center Neptune, G-Force is able to relax in their ready room, wondering how Professor Starke is doing now that he's out of jail. 7-Zark-7 contacts them and lets them know that Korag is in jail, Hanna has been caught and jailed and Professor Starke will testify against her.

This very strange machine was deployed from Spectra to eliminate Professor Starke. It had a main body with numerous heads on flexible telescoping arms. Each of the heads was able to fire missiles from their mouths. The arms were able to grab and hold the Phoenix. When their commander left, the crew of the ship felt they had no other choice than to set it to self-destruct and get away in escape ships.

Spectra's own agents are willing to double-cross them

Korag's home planet is Sigma Minor, which is one of Spectra's slave planets

All of the inhabitants of Sigma Minor are mean and terribly strong

Note: In scripts, the organization that Professor Starke worked for was originally called "The Kelly Brewer Institute. It was a nod to series Executive Producer and Head Writer, Jameson Brewer. However, Brewer himself removed the tribute."

Note: Scripts list Dr. Hobson's first name as "Carl."
