Jack Leonard was known as a singer from the 1930s through the early 1950s. He had major hit recordings with Tommy Dorsey's orchestra in the mid to late 1930s. Leonard had very few acting credits, and those usually included roles that featured his talent.

His roles on Battle of the Planets are unknown yet, but he was definitely a part of the series. Alan Young recalled him being hired there as a favor from voice director, Alan Dinehart.
