Edward Andrews was a prolific television actor from the 1940s through the 1970s. Battle of the Planets was his only known cartoon series and he was completely uncredited for it.
He joined the Battle of the Planets cast partway into the series' production, where he played featured guest characters. Andrews was the voice behind many Federation scientists, like Dr. Baxter 37 and Dr. Gregg 79. However, his most prominent and recognizable role was that of President Kane. He also played a wide variety of Spectra villains.
