Official episode synopsis

..To take over planet Aquatica for use as a base..

..To stop Spectra and destroy the Sea Dragon.
........

7-Zark-7 is enjoying a quiet moment at Center Neptune when Susan calls to tell him of an emergency alert from planet Aquatica. Aquatica is the major repair center for all ships of the Intergalactic Defense Force.

At the Intergalactic Federation headquarters, President Kane informs delegates that Spectra has inflicted severe damage on Aquatica. He hands the floor over to Anderson, who informs them that Aquatica is "lost." G-Force are dispatched for Aquatica. When they arrive Jason immediately finds Spectra’s fearsome Sea Dragon on the Phoenix's sensors. On board the Sea Dragon, Zoltar has spotted the Phoenix's arrival and he’s confident he can destroy them.

The Sea Dragon pulls out of the water and Jason launches several TBX missiles at it to no effect. Mark orders the Phoenix into the Fiery Phoenix mode but the Dragon's breathes fire out of its mouth which envelops the Fiery Phoenix and heavily damages G-Force's ship. The Phoenix is pulled out of Fiery Phoenix mode and falls to the ocean in flames. It lands on the bottom of the ocean and begins to take on water, so 7-Zark-7 orders a squad of two-man submarines to rescue the team.

7-Zark-7 and Chief Anderson soon present G-Force with a rebuilt Phoenix. This will be their last chance to defeat Spectra, otherwise mankind will have to surrender. Chief Anderson then informs the team about 7-Zark-7's new weapon called the Frigid Midget. When activated, it sets off a frozen vacuum in a 500 yard radius.

The Phoenix launches to Aquatica again and fortunately, their arrival is not seen by Spectra this time. Mark sneaks inside the Sea Dragon via hiding within a school of Spectra spy fish. He almost makes it past the guards, and he leads the Spectrans on a chase through the Sea Dragon until he finally makes his way into a secured area of the ship. Once there, he calls the Phoenix to come pick him up. Mark plants the freeze weapon as the Sea Dragon leaves the ocean.

The Phoenix transmutes intro a supercooled version of the Fiery Phoenix, which activates the Frigid Midget. It takes effect immediately on the Sea Dragon, freezing a squad of Spectrans in their tracks. The Dragon quickly loses thrust and begins to fall into the ocean. Mark is trapped in one corner of the Sea Dragon as the freezing effect narrows in on him. Princess begs Jason to do something. Jason says he'll be okay since the ship is breaking up. Jason's prediction comes true as a giant crack forms right behind Mark, allowing him to jump out of the ship. The Dragon explodes and its pieces rain into the ocean. Zoltar and his men are able to get away in an escape ship.

Keyop is worried thinking that Mark is lost. Suddenly, Mark calls on his radio that he is alive and well in the ocean. The Phoenix arrives and picks him up.

Weapons: Destructive rays, Brute strength, .........razor sharp claws and fire breath
Flight Capable: Yes
Crew: Yes
Status: Destroyed

Spectra's Dragon appeared on Planet Aquatica to take over its naval base. It was impervious to rocket and nuclear missile attack by Aquatica's air force, as well as missiles from the Phoenix. It could operate in the air or underwater. It could fire destructive rays from its eyes, but most incredibly, it had the ability to breath fire that was strong enough to overpower the Phoenix in Fiery Phoenix mode! The Dragon was defeated through the use of a special weapon called the Frigid Midget, that froze it solid in a matter of moments. It had an escape craft within a spherical object held in one of its "hands."

Mark can allow the G-Force team members to opt out of missions if they want

The Phoenix can be knocked out of Fiery Phoenix mode by even more intense flames

Mark is able to walk on the ceiling of the Spectra Sea Dragon, possibly thanks to magnetic soles on his uniform boots
